Scott Everett
Founder & CEO
Scott Everett founded S2 Capital in 2012 to acquire value add multifamily Real Estate. In the past 13 years as CEO of S2 Capital, he has built a Real Estate investment company that has transacted on $11 billion of multifamily assets totaling 50,000 units with over 700 employees. He has received the Inc. Magazine 30 under 30 award, Dallas Business Journal 40 under 40, and Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the 2018 Southwest region. He also contributes significant time and resources to various local charities and is on the board of the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) and Children’s Cancer Fund (CCF). He is an active member of TREC, NMHC, and Real Estate Roundtable. Scott is married with four children and lives in Dallas, TX.
Darci Crayton
Chief People Officer
Darci joined S2 Capital in November 2016 and now serves as Chief People Officer. As CPO, Darci leads S2’s human capital, talent development, and employee experience strategies. Darci’s passion lies in the creation and implementation of strategic people initiatives, the cultivation of a positive and inclusive organizational culture, and empowering employee growth and development. Darci believes that S2’s most valuable assets are our people and is committed to fostering a vibrant company culture centered around our Core Values. Darci holds a SHRM-CP certification and Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University.
Marc Everett
Chief Operating Officer
Marc Everett joined S2 Capital in 2014 and now serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Investment Manager and is a member of its Executive Management team. Marc was the first executive hire for the S2 Group and has been instrumental in scaling the company’s operations, asset management and construction platforms. He has overseen $497 million in capex improvements across 44,000 units. He manages all respective business plan executions and dispositions for the assets. He has helped execute $2.2 billion in dispositions on over 19,000 units, as well as over $1 billion of refinance volume during his time with the S2 Group. Marc graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in Finance. Marc is an active member of The Real Estate Council (TREC) and was a member of the 2021 Associate Leadership Council (ALC).
Megan Knauss
Chief Financial Officer
Megan Knauss joined S2 Capital in 2015 and now serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the Investment Manager and is a member of its Executive Management team. In this capacity, she is responsible for all debt, equity, tax and oversight of the accounting function for S2 Capital and its managed properties. During her tenure with S2 Capital, Megan Knauss has been involved in the acquisition and refinance of over $11 billion of transaction volume. Prior to joining S2 Capital, Megan was a manager in the transaction services advisory group at PwC and began her career in PwC’s assurance group. Megan is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated summa cum laude with both her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in accounting from Texas Tech University.
Jenna Rowley
Chief Compliance Officer & General Counsel
Jenna Rowley joined S2 in March 2021 and is responsible for supervising all legal and compliance matters. Prior to joining S2, Jenna was a senior associate in the Real Estate and Banking group at Thompson & Knight LLP (now known as Holland & Knight LLP) and began her career as an associate in the Global Projects group at Baker Botts LLP. She has represented public and private real estate companies in a broad range of complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, financings, recapitalizations, fund formations and development projects. Jenna graduated summa cum laude from Southern Methodist University with Bachelor’s degrees in Business Management and Philosophy and received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Ryan Everett
Managing Director, Head of Acquisitions, Residential
Ryan Everett joined S2 Capital in 2018 and has since played a key role in driving the firm’s acquisition strategy and growth. As Managing Director and Head of Acquisitions, he leads sourcing, underwriting, and execution efforts, with a track record of closing approximately $3 billion in acquisitions across 51 properties and 18,000 units.
He began his career in investment sales advisory at Transwestern after earning a bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas Tech University.
Ryan lives in Dallas with his wife, Baylee, and their two sons, Eli and Reid.
Cole Stephens
Managing Director, Head of Asset Management, Residential
Cole Stephens serves as Managing Director and Head of Asset Management at S2 Capital. Since joining the firm in 2018, he has led the execution of business plans across the residential platform, overseeing asset management, construction, and property management for over 30,000 units. He has contributed to the execution of over $1 billion in refinances and $750 million in dispositions. Cole earned his Finance degree from Texas Tech University and brings deep expertise in driving operational performance and value creation. He lives in Celina, TX with his wife and four children.
Michael Bippus
Managing Director, Acquisitions, Residential
Michael Bippus joined S2 Capital as Managing Director of Acquisitions and is responsible for transactions across the Southeast, including Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. With more than 30 years of real estate experience, Michael has led over $5 billion in multifamily transactions throughout his career.
Before joining S2 Capital, Michael served as Managing Director at Waypoint Residential, where he spent 10 years leading national acquisitions. He previously held Vice President roles at Harbor Group International, overseeing multifamily acquisitions in the Southeast and Southwest, and at Berkshire Property Advisors, managing the Southeast region.
Michael holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Real Estate from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia and a B.S. in Finance and Real Estate from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. He also serves on the National Board and Atlanta Regional Council of Apartment Life.
Edgar Cabrera
Managing Director, Property Management, Residential
With over 20 years of multifamily real estate experience, Edgar Cabrera brings a wealth of operational and leadership expertise to S2 Capital. Since joining the company in 2015, he has played a key role in driving portfolio performance, strengthening property operations, and implementing strategic initiatives that create long-term value. Edgar’s deep knowledge of resident relations and team development allows him to deliver consistent results across diverse markets. His commitment to excellence and collaborative approach help S2 maintain its reputation for operational efficiency and superior service, ensuring continued growth and success in the competitive multifamily sector.
Jared Everett
Managing Director, Portfolio Management, Residential
Jared Everett joined S2 Capital in 2016 and has since built a strong track record across asset and portfolio management. He served as Vice President of Asset Management before launching the firm’s Portfolio Management vertical in 2023. In his current role, he oversees all three of S2’s investment vehicles—Fund I, Fund II, and the S2C REIT—managing quarterly reporting, valuations, and capital events.
During his tenure, he has successfully guided the closing of more than $1.3 billion in loan refinancings and $300 million in property sales. His leadership has been instrumental in driving portfolio performance and optimizing capital structures across diverse market conditions.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas Tech University and now resides in Plano, Texas, with his wife and their two children.
Dilliana Stewart
Managing Director, Accounting, Residential
Dilliana Stewart joined S2 Capital in 2024 as the Managing Director of Accounting. She has over 20 years of experience in the industry, with an extensive and diverse SEC and technical accounting background. She previously served as the Chief Accounting Officer & Senior VP of Accounting at Landsea Homes Corp. Prior to that position, Dilliana was the Vice President of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting at Invited, Inc. and the Senior Director of SEC and Financial Reporting at Green Brick Partners, Inc. Dilliana received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Kansas State University.
Allison Egner
Vice President, Investor Relations
Allison Egner joined S2 Capital as Vice President, Investor Relations in April 2025. She brings over two decades of investor relations experience in alternative investments, most recently with a multifamily real estate investment manager. Prior to that, Allison served as Director of Client Service and Marketing at Hatteras Funds, an alternative investment provider for RIAs. Earlier in her career, she spent a decade in investor relations roles serving institutions, endowments, family offices, and high-net-worth investors at Silverback Asset Management, a convertible arbitrage hedge fund, and Gerber Taylor Management Company, a fund-of-funds. Allison began her career in investment banking as a Corporate Finance Analyst at Stephens Inc. She graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Economics and Spanish.
Brooks Teeter
Vice President, Asset Management, Residential
Brooks Teeter serves as Vice President of Asset Management at S2 Capital and leads the Asset Management Team in its day to day functions. Since joining the firm in 2020, he has overseen business plan execution, risk management, and worked closely with both construction and property management to ensure value maximization. Prior to joining S2 Capital, Brooks worked 3 years at KPMG as a Senior Audit Associate in the Real Estate Asset Management department. Brooks is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas, and graduated with a Masters of Science in Accounting from Texas Tech University. He currently resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife.

Chris Roach
President, Industrial
Chris Roach brings over two decades of experience in commercial real estate, with a foundation in valuation and a proven track record of leadership and growth. He earned a Finance degree from Texas Tech University and currently serves on the Real Estate Center Advisory Council, having previously completed two 3-year terms on the Rawls College of Business Advisory Council. As CEO of a national real estate services platform, Chris led the acquisition and integration of more than 20 businesses, expanded the firm’s national footprint, and oversaw two successful exits to private equity. He is also an alum of TREC’s Associate Leadership Council and lives in Dallas with his wife and three children.
Abby Robinson
Chief of Staff
Abby Robinson joined Fort Capital in February 2018 and now serves as Chief of Staff at S2 Capital following the acquisition in August 2025. As Chief of Staff, Abby drives executive integration across Multifamily and Industrial platforms, leads cross-functional initiatives, and oversees strategic planning and organizational alignment. Prior to joining Fort Capital, Abby held account management roles at leading advertising agencies in New York City working for clients including JPMorgan Chase, L’Oreal, and American Express. She was also a founding member of the brand strategy team at Southwest Airlines. Abby holds a BBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management from Texas Christian University.
Parker McCormack
Chief Investment Officer, Industrial
Parker joined S2 Capital in January 2025 as Chief Investment Officer of Industrial and is a member of Investment Committee. In this capacity, he is responsible for executing the various industrial investment initiatives of the firm as well as the management of the investment team. Prior to joining S2, Parker was a Senior Director in the Dallas office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas, where he previously was responsible for industrial sales product throughout Texas. During his time at JLL he was involved in more than $8.0 billion in commercial real estate transactions. Before that, he worked as an associate at Ernst & Young, where he performed audit testing procedures on both private and public clients.
Steve Bailey
Managing Director, Property Management & Leasing, Industrial
Steve Bailey joined Fort Capital in January 2019 and now serves as Managing Director, Property Management & Leasing at S2 Capital following the August 2025 acquisition. Steve leads strategic growth and operational excellence across S2 Industrial’s property management and leasing divisions, driving scalable service delivery and sustainable financial results. Steve brings over 20 years of real estate experience and has been involved in more than $1 billion in transactions throughout his career. He holds a BBA in Management from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Liz Kisselburgh
Managing Director, Accounting, Industrial
Liz Kisselburgh joined Fort Capital as Controller in 2017 and now serves as Managing Director, Accounting & Controller at S2 Capital following the August 2025 acquisition. Liz leads financial operations for S2 Industrial, overseeing accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and payroll functions. Prior to joining Fort Capital, Liz spent seven years in commercial lending, managing a loan portfolio of over $50 million in commercial real estate, and has significant experience in tax and forensic accounting. Liz holds a BBA in Accounting and Juris Doctor from Mississippi College and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Forensic Accountant.
Hunter Nurdin
Managing Director, Portfolio Management, Industrial
Hunter Nurdin joined Fort Capital in January 2018 and now serves as Managing Director, Finance & Portfolio Management. Hunter leads the strategic management of S2 Industrial’s commercial real estate portfolio, overseeing asset management, capital planning, and value-add initiatives. He partners across Acquisitions, Leasing, Property Management, and Investor Relations to optimize financial performance and portfolio value. Throughout his career, Hunter has assisted in the acquisition and disposition of over $1.5 billion in industrial real estate and originated over $800 million in senior debt financing. Hunter holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University.
Chris Powers
Executive Managing Director, Industrial
Chris Powers is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of real estate development and investment experience. He founded Fort Capital, which transacted on more than $2.1 billion in industrial real estate across Texas and the Sun Belt before being acquired by S2 Capital in August 2025. He is also the host of POWERS, a podcast featuring candid conversations with business leaders and entrepreneurs. Chris holds a BBA in Finance and Marketing from Texas Christian University.
